Simply put, If there were a Criterion Collection for games, Zoombinis would be in it - and likely pretty high on the list. Zoombinis is a game so enchanting, unique, and bizarrely ahead of its time that no game has since come close to replicating it. The more you play, the more complex the puzzles become, and for an excellent reason: to usher all 625 Zoombinis to Zoombiniville, one must run through 40 perfect games. And unlike those exhaustively annoying memes, it kind of is something only '90s kids will remember. If any of these descriptors jog your memory, you might have played Brøderbund's bestselling educational-veiled-as-pure-adventure computer program The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis as a child. And sixteen azure beans with sunglasses, roller skates, springs for legs, and nearly blue-black hair. A technicolor wall of mud a stone lion with a magic paw an impatient Cajun ferryboat captain.

Players face a series of increasingly difficult challenges that stand between the Zoombinis and freedom. Use logic, analyze data, spot patterns and hone problem solving skills. Players take on the role of the guide and help the Zoombinis reach the safety of Zoombiniville. The small blue creatures, each with distinct personalities and appearances, are escaping imprisonment by the evil Bloats who have taken over the Zoombinis’ home. Play Zoombinis and guide the little blue creatures through fun and increasingly challenging puzzles on their way to a new home. Zoombinis is a re-creation of the classic, award-winning 1990’s puzzle game Logical Journey of the Zoombinis.
